About Simply Cryptic
Simply Cryptic is a cryptic crossword-inspired word game built around one clue at a time. You do not have to face a full crossword grid to enjoy a satisfying solve.
Each answer fits the exact letter count shown in parentheses. Try the wordplay yourself, use a hint if you get stuck, and open an optional explanation to learn why the answer works.
Choose Easy, Classic or Hard difficulty packs as you build confidence. Released updates add shareable daily results, daily streaks and an optional 9am reminder. Offline play requires no account.
